In the great work of life and death, time does not wait for you.
If you die tomorrow, what body will you get?
Isn’t this all very important?
Hurry up! Hurry up!
Blue sky and green sea are the Buddha’s original face.
The sound of the waterfall and the singing of the bird are the great sutras.
Where are you going?
Pay attention to your steps.
Water flows into the sea, clouds drift in the sky.

Zen Master Seung Sahn

The Zen Center Berlin (Chong Hye Sah) was founded in the spring of 1990. It is the headquarters of the Kwan Um Zen School Germany and has been the main temple of the European Kwan Um Zen School since 2008.

In addition to regular Zen practice, we organize Zen meditation days (Yong Maeng Jong Jin) with authorized masters from our school.

The Zen Center Berlin is open to everyone. It is a place where people come together, live together and practise Zen together.

You are cordially invited to come by and find out more about our practice and the Zen Center Berlin. We will be happy to answer your questions (see contact).
