Monthly introduction into Zen Practice & Mentoring
We would like to invite beginners, and anyone else interested, to visit our monthly introduction. Every participant who wishes to do so will be assigned a mentor who can accompany you during the first weeks.
Due to COVID-19 the introduction will take place via Zoom at varying dates and times.
The next introductions can be attended via this Zoom link on:
|Thu., 8th of April, 19:30 – 20:45.||Martin|
|Mon., 10th of May., 19:30 – 20:45.||Elisa|
This introduction will give you the opportunity to get to know our school of Zen Buddhism, familiarize yourself with its practices, and ask questions.We ask anyone who wants to practice with us in the Zen Center to attend this introduction first, so that we can concentrate fully on meditation during the regular practice periods.The schedule is as follows:
- Welcome and Introduction
- 30 Min. Zen in Sitting
- Opportunity for questions
If you are interested, please register at firstname.lastname@example.org at least one day in advance. If necessary, the Introduction can also take Place in English or in German-English. Just ask us.
Meditation can help to cope better with the changing situations in the lockdown. In order to offer newcomers the opportunity to get to know our form of practice and to participate in our online Zen exercises and events, despite our currently closed centres and groups, we invite you to this introduction.
Since beginners would continue to be on their own after the introduction, we offer follow-up support by mentors who will be available to anyone interested in the next few weeks as contact persons for questions about Zen practice and meditation.
Experienced Dharma teachers and Zen practitioners – Elisa, Martin, Gisla, Michael, Ronny, Sascha – are available as mentors and you can contact them.
